With the introduction of the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491) visa due to commence on 16 November 2019, the Skilled Regional (Provisional) (subclass 489) invited pathway visa will be closed to new applications at 11:59 pm on 15 November 2019.
Important dates to note:
10 September 2019—last day for intending migrants to receive an invitation to apply for the subclass 489. You can’t submit any EOIs in SkillSelect after this date.
15 November 2019—last day for people who we have invited to apply for a subclass 489 visa to lodge a subclass 489 visa application
Subclass 489 (invited pathway) closes to new applications from 15 November 2019
